Story

On SATURDAY 22nd MAY 2021 I will do 2,222 push ups within 22 hours.

The Tiffer's Bus Shelter provide a lifesaving service to the rough sleepers in Ipswich. On a weekly basis they are out there, even during lockdown offering food, hot drinks, sleeping bags as well as practical & emotional support to those that need it most. These volunteers do a phenomenal job every day, giving to those that are struggling and I hope that by achieving this challenge I'll be able to support them and our most vulnerable in return.

Helping those living on the streets is always something that's always been important to me, but particularly during these extremely cold months it's more important than ever to help everyone in our community stay warm and safe.

This challenge was inspired by Andre Rush, a famous Chef from the U.S who does 2,222 push ups every week day to raise awareness for the estimated 22 military veterans who commit suicide every day. This man is inspirational, so much that I began trying to reach it.

Today (10/1/2021) I managed around 10% of the target push ups, and there's still a long way to go.

200 push ups in a day is quite a few, and it dawned on me that I might be able to raise some money for a good cause by taking this to the next level ad achieving what Chef Rush does (Daily!).

133 days to go. Let's do this!
