Story

Hi, i am Lucy, i am 9 years old. I would like to raise £100 to help the nurses in the surgical ward at Royal Aberdeen Childrens Hospital so they can decorate it nice and make it less hospitally for children.

I am in hospital just now and not sure when i will get home yet. It has been 3 weeks already so far this time and i was in before Christmas too. The nurses have all be so nice and i have been helping to make pictures for the walls and decorations for Valentines day.

I spend alot of time in hospital as i was born with a rare condition called Tracheo-oesophageal fistula and oesophageal atresia. Basically my food pipe wasnt connected to my tummy and my windpipe was connected to my food pipe. They repaired that when i was just born but i have had lots of other operations and health issues. I have to do lots of medicine including my nebuliser. My pump Polly also feeds me through my gastrostomy button as i am not very good at swallowing just now.

I would like to help and make the ward nicer for all the children. Any donations would help sooo much!

Thank you
Love Lucy x
