Story
My husband Paul was diagnosed with cancer in December and we lost him in March. Paul was always passionate about football, and was a brilliant player in his youth, playing for a lot of local teams. Our 2 youngest daughters play for Deerness Tigers, and Paul supported the team and regularly helped the coaching staff. The club is helping organise a charity memorial match at Framwellgate. School Durham on 30th June , an adults game and a junior game, some fun to raise money in Pauls name for a couple of cancer charities that mean something to our family and we have chosen to support , Maxwell Family Genomics Fund, Macmillan, and OPA - the charity for oesophageal cancer patients. We would love anyone to join us to lace up your boots, come and support, and just celebrate Pauls memory
