We are Melling Community Volunteers, formed by Sue and Adam from The Horse & Jockey pub Melling and a team of local volunteers.

NO CHILD IN MELLING GOES HUNGRY THIS HALF TERM!!!

With most schools being closed on half term wc 26th October, The Melling Volunteers will be handing out lunch packs, prepared by The Horse and Jockey, for any child in Melling who requires a lunch during this period.

The packs can be collected from the Events marquee in the grounds of Caunce Hall (Scout Hall) – social distancing adhered to – any day/all days Monday 26th to Friday 30th.

If your child/children requires a pack, please contact The Melling Volunteers (in confidence) on 07731 689949 to let us know how many packs you require and for how many days. You can pick up your lunch pack(s) anytime between 11:30 and 1:30.
