Story

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page. I am raising money for Ncemaneni school in South Africa during the Whitsun holidays in the first week of June 2021.

The school is in desperate need of new toilet facilities. The children currently only have a pit toilet, which means there is zero sanitation and nowhere to wash hands. Pit toilets are unsafe, unhygienic, and completely unfit for purpose. They are supposed to be abolished in all schools in South Africa, but this is not happening, so I want to help.

I am 12 years old and will be cycling about 120 miles in 3 days around Pembrokeshire in Wales. The hills will be big with total elevations of over 2500m – it will definitely be challenging! More information here: www.lucascopley.uk

The boys and girls at Ncemaneni are just like me and my friends and I would hate to be in their situation. I want to help them by raising money for the building of proper facilities. Anything you can spare will be greatly appreciated and literally life changing for the children.

Thanks, Lucas Copley

Update 17/03: Wow - amazing response! Target stretched from £300 to £800
