If you were born in Albania and happened to be mentally or physically impaired you would be locked away from the world (mostly by your parents), no medical or psychological support to improve your disability, left uneducated, with no employment prospect not even dreaming of a family or social life – this is life sentence for no particular reason.

MEDPAK has worked hard for many years to change this and there are people who have been given the chance of living despite their disabilities. MEDPAK is run by my childhood teacher whose son Doris faced the same challenges. Now Doris is one of the directors of the charity and works alongside his mother to change the life’s of other children. I need your support to help them. Last year we raised money to secure a physiotherapy equipment that has made a difference for many children who need such assistance. I’m counting on all of you to help MEDPAK to help more children.
