I've raised £40000 to make some amazing changes to the facility that the users have been asking for.

Again you will have seen the total amount aiming for dropped. This is simply because of all the volunteer hours the staff have been putting in over the past few months. Things have been goin great here but now we really need your help to improve the facility. All donations will go towards improving the skatepark, DIY Section, toilets and outside areas.
We would also like to say a big thank you to all the people that have donated so far.
You may see the total amount we aim to achieve to have dropped dramatically. This is simply due to the generous donations we have reveived from people so far. Here is a little breakdown of what people have been kind enough to give us over the past couple of weeks: -
Volunteer Hours, Lease Reductions ,Website Creations, Social Media Support, Paint and DIY materials , Joiner Services, Food donations, Equipment donations, Business/ coaching/ Mentoring support, Marketing and Design , Finance Support, Legal Services, Window fitting.
We have set up a new charity to meet the needs of the local community with the closure of the skatepark and education setting of The Works Skate Park Charity.
We have a passionate team of volunteers currently working tirelessly to do all we can to ensure that we can get the Skate Park in Hunslet and all Education and Community programmes running before the end of January 2019.
Mission Statement: To provide a safe, engaging and inclusive environment, reduce inequality and raise aspirations using sport and education.
As a new charity we are starting with a passion and a purpose and currently relying on the goodwill of a group of amazing volunteers and donations. To create sustainability and ensure we can make the developments required to open we need to raise funds. The speed in which we are able to raise these funds will have an impact on when we are able to meet financial commitments and open the centre.
We want to target an opening at the end of January 2019 as we appreciate the longer the park is closed the more the local community will miss what has become so many peoples safe space.
