This fundraiser is for Lizzie, our neice to her fund alternative medical treatment and expenses related to receive life saving cancer treatment. Lizzie has recently been diagnosed with with a rare brain and spine tumour. Lizzie is 27 years old, she lives in Kent with partner Gordon and their 2 beautful girls, Grace who is 6 and Sophia who is 4. Lizzie has already had to deal with a lot of heartbreak in her young life, losing her Mum at 17 and now in these last few weeks having her world turned upside down with this diagnosis. Lizzie is a beautiful soul, always cheerful and with wonderful postiive sunny outlook on life she is an amazing Mum. She loves the simple things in life, of having her family and friends around her, and having fun times. She means world to us and we love her dearly, we want to do all we can to help her through this journey.

Lizzie is about to start a year long journey of extensive chemotherapy and radiotherapy. We are fund raising to help ease the financial burden that is causing her a lot of addtional worry whilst having to process what has happened and also prepare herself for the extensive tretment ahead. To ensure she receives the best treatment available Lizzie will have to travel to central London. The cost of travelling to London from Kent is high, with petrol costs, congestion charges and parking fees (Due to covid she is cannot travel via public transport). Money raised will also help Lizzie with any ad hoc expenses, such as accomodation for her partner, Gordon in London when she is receiving treatment, and help towards keeping their home they have worked so hard for. Plus,the opportunity to seek alternative medical treatment.

We appreciate that these are hard financial times for everyone, with the impact of Covid-19.
