Story

This is my cousin Louise and she's no doubt gonna be really p***ed off at me when she reads this - I've been debating whether I should post or not however I feel like everyone needs to know what a hero she is! You might have seen the news this week about the gas explosion in East Kilbride, making the residents of a whole block of flats homeless. What you won't have read on the articles is that Louise risked her own life to save her neighbour from the half-demolished building. She pulled him out with no thought for her own safety and most likely saved his life. Louise and her family have been evacuated and are left with nothing as they're not able to get back into the flat to get their belongings. Luckily they have some amazing family and friends who have given them a place to stay, some clothes etc. Louise has been quoted £400 for a new car key and so can't even use her car right now. Its bad enough that they're homeless and are having to wait for emergency accommodation but not even having transport is awful for them. Would also be great if we could get a wee kitty together to allow them to buy all the essentials they need from clothes to toiletries to dog food. Louise is always helping others in the community, let's pull together to help her and her family get the necessities in their time of need
