I'm running the Boston marathon in memory of my sister 🐈 As an added challenge I am planning to run the London marathon just 6 days after Boston!

I feel very lucky to have qualified for this very special marathon. I would love to raise funds and awareness for Hallswood Animal Sanctuary, especially the Hallswood cats, many of whom I have met through work when they have visited for vaccinations or treatment.

A little information about Hallswood Animal Sanctuary outside Horsford.

Although predominantly a wildlife rescue, Hallswood Animal Sanctuary helps many cats and kittens every year.

The main sanctuary outside Horsford is where the main activities happen and where most of the wildlife in their care are housed.
The sanctuary is based in approx 8.5 acres of woodland with several purpose-built buildings.
They are constantly expanding and improving the site; Just in the last couple of years, they have added a brand new drive, an expansion to our hedgehog hospital, and a massive pond for our rescue fish!

They also have two fields where they keep other rescued animals; Everything from alpacas to ponies! Add to that a network of fosterers and you have the backbone of what makes Hallswood 🐈

I will be taking my sister's car ears with me to wear. I hope they will help me conquer the hills!
