Story
Nearly 6 years on we all miss Clark terribly, we think and talk about him every day.
Clark was a well known and much loved character in North Berwick. His family had the Quarterdeck (now the Herringbone [for the youngsters]) for almost 30 years and Clark was at the helm for the latter part of that. Clark loved East Lothian, particularly North Berwick and its coast.
I have always wanted a bench to visit with Hugo and Connie and for others from North Berwick or visiting to enjoy, whether they knew Clark or not. But they are very expensive.
A dear friend (also widowed young) suggested we all climb Ben A'an at the end of May to raise sponsorship - for her and her girls to get a bench at Cramond and for me, Hugo and Connie; a bench in North Berwick. I jumped at the chance. So here we are, please sponsor us!

Yesterday we did our climb up Ben An'n. The weather was truly 'Scottish'! Despite the fact it rained the whole duration of our walk up, the kids did it without a grumble. I am so very proud of them. The bench is now in place at the harbour. Please do visit when you are in North Berwick. I'm going to place a little 'cache' under it, please find that, opened it and sign to say you were there!
