Story
Jorvik Blades football team are helping to raise funds for the Lord Mayor of York's charities.
On Saturday 4 March they will be going 'spoke to spoke' in two teams against each other on the 'Lord Mayor's Charity Cycle Trail'.
The teams will race against each other and have to pick up clues along the way on an epic ride along some of York's finest cycle routes.
Who will win?
By sponsoring the Jorvik Blades you will spur them on to compete against each other in this exciting new challenge in conjunction with York's new cycle shop 'Re-Cycle' located on Walmgate, where the trail will start and finish.
You can also join the Lord Mayor of York at Re-Cycle on Saturday 4 March as he welcomes the winners and the losers back to the shop.
All the money raised will go to support the work done in the local community by the Lord Mayor's charities, which are:
York Racial Equality Network, York LGBT Forum, St Nicks and York Civic Trust.
Please sponsor the team in their charity cycle challenge.
All money raised through this page will be split equally between the four charities the Lord Mayor is supporting.
