Story
On 10th April 2025, LMP Action C.I.C and Noise Academy are coming together to host a Rowathon at Latymer Upper School in Hammersmith. This exciting event will bring together individuals and teams to row a combined distance of 300,000 meters (the equivalent of rowing half the length of England!).
The money raised will go towards two initiatives, Noise Academy's CIC to provide free music workshops for young people and creating Christmas food and activity hampers for vulnerable children and young people across the UK.
Noise Academy works with young people, giving them a creative platform to express themselves through music production, songwriting, and performance. By offering professional training and mentorship, Noise Academy empowers young people to build confidence, skills, and a sense of belonging, particularly for those with special educational needs, or suffering social emotional and mental health issues, with a focus on supporting those facing economic challenges. Through this collaboration, young people will create and perform live music during the Rowathon, giving them an exciting opportunity to showcase their talents while supporting a meaningful cause.
LMP Action focuses on providing practical support and opportunities to vulnerable young people, including those from low-income backgrounds, those facing barriers to education, and those in need of emotional and social support. We are dedicated to creating lasting positive change through access to education, food, and vital resources. By partnering with Noise Academy, we’re creating new experiences for young people that go beyond the classroom, building their skills, confidence, and community.
Together, we're committed to giving vulnerable young people a voice, a platform, and the resources they need to thrive. This Rowathon is not just about fitness, it’s about celebrating their potential and creating new opportunities for young people across the country.
