I've raised £1500 to Llandudno District Nurses and Primary Care Treatment Centre are raising funds for a new doppler machine.

Every day, thousands of people’s quality of life is devastated by the lack of support and advice on the prevention of lower leg and foot conditions and the failure to correctly diagnosis and treat them. Llandudno District Nurses and the Primary Care Treatment Centre are determined to change this.
We have pledged our support to the LegsMatter Campaign a coalition of healthcare organisations coming together to ensure that people with lower leg or foot conditions receive the urgent care and attention that they need!
As part of our commitment to improve the care we provide we have identified that our teams would benefit from a new piece of equipment. The Huntleigh Dopplex ABility has revolutionised the ABI process and provides automatic, easy, fast and accurate measurements with an immediate printout of results.Requires minimal training and provides rapid bilateral ABI measurements in just 3 minutes. It's portability enables measurements to be made more efficiently in the primary care clinic, hospital or patient's home.
We have committed to raise funds towards the purchase of a new doppler machine and our first challenge will be to climb Mount Snowdon on September the 16th wearing a pair of funky socks. We hope our family, friends and colleagues will support us in our efforts for this extremely worth while and under recognised cause!
