At LivingCare, we are committed to providing the best possible care—not just in our clinics, but also in our communities. We are fundraising to install life-saving defibrillators outside our Leeds and Sheffield sites, ensuring they are readily available to the public in case of a sudden cardiac emergency.

Why is this important?

Cardiac arrest can happen anywhere, at any time and a defibrillator can massively increase survival rates if used quickly. Having these devices at our clinics will help protect patients, visitors, staff, and the wider community.

Where will extra funds go?

Any money raised beyond our target for the defibrillators will be donated to Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY), a fantastic charity dedicated to preventing sudden cardiac deaths in young people through screening, research, and support for affected families. LivingCare will be running a cardiac screening day in collaboration with CRY in May 2026.
