Little Village is coming to Camden!

Run entirely by local volunteers, Little Village works a bit like a food bank but instead of food, provides good quality baby clothes, toys and equipment to families in need in the local area. Everything is donated by local families and given to local families who can't afford to buy it.

But it costs £7,750 to keep Little Village running for a year as we need to pay for storage, train our volunteers, hire a mini van and buy some items (mattresses, bottle teats and underwear) new for health and safety reasons.

Please help us reach our target - so that we can bring our much needed service to Camden, where 36% of children in the borough live below the poverty line.

How does Little Village work?
We offer a weekly drop-in service for families who need our support and a delivery service for larger items. We work on a referrals basis with our partners such as health visitors, Children’s Centres, midwives and local food banks. Families can either drop in with a voucher to visit our stockroom themselves, or our volunteers put together bags of kit on their behalf.

We make it easy for local families to help one another in a respectful, non-judgemental, non-patronising way. Just one family helping another!
