I've raised £200 to Save dogs from the Dog Meat Trade - Dachshund Support Group

Hi everyone,
Firstly I'd like to thank you so much for taking the time to read this. I intend to raise at least £200 which, will go towards helping rescue Dachshunds from the dog meat trade in China & Korea. As pet ownership grows in China, so does the number of Dachshunds who end up in the Dog Meat Trade. This group was formed with the sole purpose of rescuing Dachshunds from the meat trade. Fundraising is undertaken to ensure the Dachshunds are rescued, nursed back to health and transported to loving homes in the UK where they are fostered until the time is right and they find their forever home. The group works with and supports dog meat rescue organisations across China & Korea that do wonderful work. As you can imagine funding the end to end care and flights for these poor wee rescues is not cheap, and the Covid pandemic hasn't helped. And so that is why Matilda, Frida (both rescue Dachshunds), and I are taking part with other like-minded folks in the Little Legs 10 mile sponsored walk, Cairngorm's carpark to Aviemore on the 13th June 2021. If all you can sponsor us is the cost of a cup of coffee, that will be as gratefully received as any larger donation, and every penny goes towards rescuing Dachshunds from the horrors, cruelty and painful end of life they'll face if left in the dog meat trade. Thank you x
