Head teacher Miss Jo Hulme and our very own local champion runner Mrs Bev Jenkins Simons (established and volunteers as the coach of Little Heaton running club) will be running the Manchester 10k run in May 2019. Please sponsor them and help us raise the funds for our cause

Little Heaton PTFA are aiming to raise money to help establish a forest school.

Forest Schools’ are a Scandinavian concept that has been adopted in the UK for several years . We would like the children of Little Heaton to experience forest school because of the excellent reputation it has for developing children’s self esteem, its positive effect on children’s social and emotional development. Enabling them to become more confident and independent.
All aspects of the childrens education can be enhanced by the learning outside the classroom and using the outdoor environment and nature to do this .
