Story
Personal challenge - Triple Channel Swim - 63 miles over a year.
I have been a scout leader since 1990 and I worked for scouting in the USA for 7 seasons - you could say scouting is now part of me. This time one of Tiptree scouts, Charlie has been acepted (first time since 91) so I get to attend with one of my "old" cubs.
The WSJ happens every 4 years and this one is in the USA pretty close to where I worked, I feel uniquely placed to show scouts from all countries what such an adventure this will be and share my knowledge.
I am trying to fund for a third world scout or leader also

6 years agoHi all, Well after a great Dec, Jan has been a bit slow on the swimming front with a cold but i am pleased to say I have completed over 53 miles so just 10 miles left to target. My last big event is soon Jan 26th an 80's Disco at Rose & Crown £10pp Thanks for the donations, I am at about 85% of total.
