In March 2017, just 6 months after losing our Joshua (forever 18💔) we was given the awful news that Dazz had a rare type of cancer, just weeks later he endured a 10 hour operation to remove the tumour that had invaded his nerves and muscle in his left jaw. The operation left him physically disabled (in some strange ways considering they operated on his face) and mentally battered. We was told at that time that his ‘rare’ cancer would return within about 5 years and that it would metastasize in his lungs. Even after being given a life sent, he battled on, head held high like the soldier he has always been to us all.

In June 2020 the light in our life was born and Eli gave Dazz a reason to live and to get out of bed in the mornings.

Skip forward to 2021 and its back! He was sent for tests, samples were sent to specialist trials hospitals that focus on rare types of cancer and may have some drug trials that may help. But no there’s nothing that they can offer (Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy don’t touch his cancer!) and in the late summer we was told to make memories! He is in constant pain and his mental health is a nightmare.

I’ve tried to win the lottery, I’ve worked my backside off but I just can‘t make enough to do some if the things he really wants to do. Some are so far out of the relms of possibility (to go Jamaica and visit Graceland) that even this page won‘t be able to help, but if I can just raise enough to do some of the little things he really would like to do, Visit Amsterdam, take Eli to Colchester Zoo and the London Aquarium, even a family holiday somewhere close by.

I hate that I’ve had to do this but I can’t think of any other way to raise the funds!
