Story

Ryan Office is an 11 year old fit and healthy boy who has recently been diagnosed with a brain tumour. He underwent surgery at Newcastles RVI last week and further scans showed the tumour had been successfully removed so he was sent home to recover with his family, while they waited agonisingly for the pathology results. Yesterday those results were received and Ryan was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer, anaplastic pleomorphic xanthoastrocytoma, which specialists state needs urgent specialised proton beam therapy treatment, only available in Manchester, Germany & Florida. Wherever he is to be treated will prove an extremely costly affair, with incidental expenses not covered by the NHS, for his Mum, Dad and his older brother Lewis who obviously want to by his side throughout. Please donate if you can, however small - this would mean the world to a very special friend, Ryans Mum, Elaine Office, a Paramedic who will also be taking an understandably long time away form work and this will hopefully take away some of the pressure from this heartbreaking experience.
