Story
The second wave of Covid 19 is having a devastating effect in India. Its even more serious when you consider the thinly distributed ICU beds, Oxygen and other monitoring facilities. People are not able to get these in time.
At Lincs Indian Society we have many friends and close family members including our parents in India who are potentially exposed to this deadly virus. All of us feel helpless as we are here and not able to travel there to offer much needed help on the ground. However, we have decided to go there and return (virtually). Please join our
' Lets go to India and return (virtually)' campaign. You can run, walk or cycle (outdoors or indoors). Collectively the return distance is 8130 miles. All we request is that the participants pledge £1 per mile. Please get friends and family to donate for your activities... it all goes for a great cause.
We would like to help by raising enough funds to be able to donate to hospitals in India and help them get more of the essential life saving equipment to help them continue to do the great work they are currently doing!
Please help by donating generously.
