Story
Lilly Ann, 2lb 4oz. Born 09/06/2017 at 27 weeks 6 days (12weeks 1day premature)
UPDATE:
We are so heartbroken and devastated to say our beautiful little Lilly died in our arms this morning. 17/07/2017
As a lot of you know she was doing so well and fighting fit just 24 hours before she died. She took ill very rapidly and at 1am this morning the surgeon's took her to theatre, they came back down with in the hour and we heard the words that will haunt us for a long time!
There is nothing we can do, she won't survive the night.
At around 10am this morning we took her ventilation tubes out and sat cuddling her untill she slipped away.
It took only 12 hours for this horrific disease to kill her entire intestines/bowles. The sad thing is even if we knew when, where and how it was going to hit and she had the best people and all the gear nothing could have stopped it.
Raising money for future parents with premature and sick babies in the Neonatal intensive care unit, Nottingham Queens Medical Centre.
Money raised will go towards new freezers for mothers to store milk untill their child is well enough to start feeding. Also hoping to have some keepsake boxes and special diaries made to help preterm mothers and fathers record and save special items from their childs journey through the neonatal intensive care unit.
Thank you.
