Story
For Maisie
Weʼre raising what we can to help our friends and their family who lost their beloved 7 years old daughter Maisie in a tragic accident in our small town of Looe in Cornwall. Maisie was killed when a car lost control in the thick snow. We have set up this page to help a young family to relieve financial pressures in their hard time.
We want to thank everyone who has shown support for Abbi, Joe ,Charlie and their family.
As the fundraiser has 10 days to go, We (me, Rachel Fletcher and Lauren Elizabeth Edwards) have taken this opportunity to say thank you to everyone who has shown their support. it really will help Abbi, Joey, and charlie (and lee the snake). We simply cannot believe the amount of love and support that has been given. From those close to us to the strangers who we will never know. we wish we could personally say thank you to everyone, we really do.
Thank you for all the donations and collections going on throughout the town and beyond. the acts of kindness, no matter how big or small have not gone unnoticed.
The town is pretty and bright with pink bows and painted rocks and full of love from people across the entire world.
"The outpouring of love and support from our wonderful friends, family and the communities has made us feel like a warm blanket of love being wrapped around us"
On Wednesday the 21st of March, the family said not goodbye, but see you soon to Maisie.
Reading the family's statement, the mayor of Looe, councillor Armand Toms, said: "This was probably the hardest thing Maisie's family have ever had to write. We are all so proud of who she was as a person; never a bad word to say about anyone, and always trying to find a way to help".
"Maisie made a big impact on our lives in the short time she was with us. We will miss her, we will all miss her, but the memory of Maisie will be preserved as a perfect, innocent heart forever."
"We couldn’t have asked for anything but more time."
