In October 2018, a close family friend found an indent in her right breast as well as a 17mm lump. After further investigation by the doctors, the lump had grown and spread to the lymph nodes, finding out that she had breast cancer. This has resulted in 6 months of intense chemotherapy, which Lorna starts on Monday 21st January 2019, before having an operation to get her breast and lymph nodes removed.

Myself and Beckie Vallance will be completing the National Three Peak challenge on Saturday 8th June 2019, in order to raise money for Lorna and her family in this time of need. The National Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales, within 24 hours. This will go towards a well needed break and any other expenses that occur during this difficult time. All of the money that we raise will go to the straight to the family as we have funded the challenge ourselves. Any donations would be greatly appreciated in order to reach our goal.
