Can you help? Little Hallingbury Cricket Club suffered serious water damage after pipes burst during the beast from the east in March. Unfortunately the insurance company may not be covering all (or any) of the work that needs to be done. The club needs to cover some repair work that’s already been done to the ceilings, they need to get some new workstops, new flooring and new tables. The club runs weekly colt’s sessions which are attended regularly by around 50 children and helps improve their cricketing skills. My son started as a colt age 8 and now 9 years later he regularly plays for the club on a Sunday and on a Saturday. So many club members have coached, mentored, encouraged and helped him and many other colts to be part of a friendly local team. There is also a village rounders team who meet there weekly. Little Hallingbury Cricket Club has given so much to our community and I’m hoping everyone can agree with me that it would be lovely to give something back.
