I've raised £10000 to support various causes across the UK including Fans Supporting Foodbanks, The Toy Appeal, Project Giving and the 23 Foundation. YNWA

In September 2021, The LFC Red Indians will take on the gruelling challenge of cycling over 250 miles from London to Liverpool in order to raise awareness and much needed funds for the various causes we are supporting.
The pandemic caused waves of uncertainty and cries of help across the UK and our fundraising efforts have seen over £35,000 raised and distributed amongst those that needed our support during these testing times.
For this event, our journey which is spread across 4/5 days, will commence at London's Iconic Wembley Stadium with riders crossing the finishing line at world famous Anfield stadium in Liverpool. As part of the ride we are incorporating visits to stadiums across the football league with the sole aim of creating further awareness for the causes we are supporting. Also within the local communities of the areas of the stadiums we visit, we aim to help various charities and causes in need of our assistance in turn demonstrating the true meaning of 'Unity is Strength'.
Being our first attempt at such a challenge, we kept our team to a manageable level, we have 6 riders and a support team to working behind the scene to ensure a smooth journey.
Ash Thakrar - The leader of the pack aka Mr PRESIDENT and has been devoted to this fabulous journey since the very start.
Jay Kanabar - An avid cyclist with many tours around the globe, should be the perfect mentor for the rest of the pack.
Raj Chavda - A fitness and health guru which should aid all in reaching the finishing line.
Ariff Razzaq - Previously cycled only 18 miles on his state of the art bike, his love for the reds and our causes has inspired him to take on this challenge.
Chetan Shah - Having suffered from a stroke at an early age, his grit and determination in reaching the end of goal of this challenge will be an inspiration to many.
Lalit Mandalia - A late intro into the team, but what an asset he is proving to be, will be a fabulous mentor to the inexperienced riders.
Raj Gandhi: Needs no Intro but thank god he's not getting on the bike !!
Sunny Mehta: Support driver and food connoisseur (well the riders will have to eat at some point)
Bav Chavda - Celebrity chef (for us anyway) and Peloton master, taking to the road to demonstrate the power of YNWA. (due to unforeseen circumstances Bav will no longer be cycling but remains part of the team)
Fans Supporting Foodbanks - Fans Supporting Foodbanks is a joint initiative between rivals Liverpool F.C. and Everton F.C. supporters, founded in 2015 to tackle food poverty in Liverpool. It provides a quarter of all food donations to north Liverpool food banks and has helped to develop a network of fan-driven food banks across the UK. It is an example of progressive football fan activism.
The Toy Appeal - Every year we hear about an increasing number of children and families living under difficult circumstances, which means the need for toys or learning resources for children and young people aged 0-18 years has grown. They might be a neighbour, a friend or colleagues’ child that would not have received a present on the most exciting day in any youngster’s calendar – birthdays and Christmas! Together we can make a difference, so let’s make a child smile this year!
Project GIVING - a community run organisation with volunteers coming together to help those in need. The main focus is Homelessness and the team's are out every month setting up camps in London to serve the homeless food, clothing, and toiletries.
23 Foundation - When Jamie Carragher decided to create the 23 Foundation in 2009, he did so to help make a difference to the young people of Merseyside by offering “help to give local kids a chance” As well as supporting sick, disabled and disadvantaged children, the 23 Foundation also helps community organisations and not-for profit organisations that support and provide services for young people.
Thank you for visiting our page and supporting the LFC Red Indians.
