Story
In July, I and 19 other students from Prior Park College will be embarking on a very special project to Romania with the charity People against Poverty. We will be going on a 10 day trip to build a Micro Farm. Micro-Farming isn't new at all. It has been done for centuries. Micro Farming is about finding ways ways to raise animals and grow gardens within communities.
We will be building houses for animals, sourcing livestock, stocking storage areas with feed to increase the food supply to the village.
In order to raise money to build the Micro Farm, we will be taking part in a 52 mile bike ride on the 19th March from Bradford on Avon to Bristol and back - in one trip.
Any donations for this cause would be greatly appreciated - as we embark on helping a community build a sustainable life.
