This Just Giving page has been set-up to raise money in memory of our wonderful family friend – Lewis Johnstone.

Lewis was a kind, caring, talented 21-year-old who had suffered with depression and anxiety for some time.

He attended Montessori Nursery and then Primary School in Alloway, Scotland with our eldest son, Jack and proved himself to be a great friend, an extremely talented football player and a wonderful young man.

Sadly, in September 2016, Lewis took his own life, unable to cope with his illness any longer.

He was the eldest of 4 children and has left his family and friends devastated by his passing.

His mother Sharon and his father Neil began raising money for a Scottish Mental Health Charity almost immediately – wanting to save any other family from experiencing the same tragedy.

On what would have been Lewis’ 22nd Birthday this June 2017, his mother told us that her wish was to set up a foundation in Lewis’ name. A Charity that, with the right support, would provide an independent Counsellor in their local Secondary School (and ultimately in many other Secondary Schools) who could offer independent advice and support to other young men and woman suffering in the same way that Lewis did.

In order to set up the Charity, the family need to raise £5,000.
