Charlotte Carpenter collapsed May 2017 after a charity fun run. two days later she suffered a massive stroke rendering her completely paralysed, all except her eyes. Charlotte still retained all memories and mentally she is exactly the same yet she is trapped in her own body.

Almost 2 years on she has very slight speech and is able to

spell words if you cannot hear her very well using an eye gaze chart. She is able to use an eye gaze computer to text and remarkably she considers herself lucky because she feels others are worse off.

She has very slight movement in one hand that she is improving on. The Wheelchair Genie V.2 will be bespoke made to help have some sense of control and movement, alleviate the boredom, to turn and look at the view if she wants, change her angle so her legs dont get sore. Make some choices. Being able to change positions will be so beneficial to her health physically as well as being able to move, giving her a sense of freedom.

Even tiny donations to you wont be tiny to us. To donate 10pence and share will make a massive difference. I will get this on my business page tomorrow. I have 341,000 people on there if only one third donated 10 pence we would raise of 22,000 so when they say every little counts , it really, really does. No donation is too small and if you aren't able to offer a donation a share is very gratefully received.

I am still investigating raising money through a charity but we need to work with a charity that will ensure the donations with go to Charlottes wheelchair, we aren't guaranteed that. Raising money this way ensures every penny goes to the wheelchair.
