I've raised £30000 to to provide better PPE for our NHS doctors, nurses and clinical staff and support https://LetsBeatCOVID.net

The devastating effects of COVID-19 on Wuhan, Italy and around the world are unprecedented, and it has become clear that doctors and nurses are catching the virus at work with terrible effects. In Italy 20% of healthcare workers are infected and 70 doctors have died.
We are providing front line clinical staff with better PPE to try and keep them safe at work. The aim is that doctors and nurses looking after COVID-19 patients all have an FFP2 or FFP3 mask, visor or eye protection, and gown or coverall.
We are now working in partnership with a number of groups including The Doctors Association UK and NHS Help for Heroes.
Using the DAUK https://www.nhsppe.com/ app and direct communications we are mapping where the gaps are and which clinical staff we can support.
Who are we?
The Let’s Beat COVID-19 Team are all working as volunteers led by Dr Asif Qasim, Founder of MedShr, a medical network that connects over one million doctors in 190 countries. The MedShr team are working pro bono with FarFetch, the British Fashion Council and a team of volunteers to source and transport PPE to where it is needed.
