Five Acres is close to my heart and I would like to give something back as a thank you so I am entering the Great North Run on September 11th with the hope of raising funds for them. People who know me and my family will know that my Grandson Joe, who initially accessed Five Acres as a day placement and 'Champion', is now an apprentice at Five Acres, they saw the potential in Joe and have given him the opportunity he deserves and it gives us all such joy and pride to see Joseph happy, growing with confidence and achieving GREAT things.

Five Acres Community Garden are based in Rof59 in Newton Aycliffe, they are an amazing organization providing a Day Respite Centre for School and College Leavers and Young Adults with learning difficulties.

Disability is not limiting, circumstances are ..... it's finding the right people and place to allow each individual to flourish and develop in their own way, Joseph is proof of what can be achieved and the staff at Five Acres are passionate and focused on delivering the best outcome for their young adults - Any donation small or large will make a difference THANK YOU !!
