Dear Family, Friend, and Supporters…

On Friday 21st June I will be embarking on a challenging journey, cycling 100 miles from Wolverhampton to Aberdovey to raise funds for the Good Hope Cancer Treatment Centre alongside (behind) our Team from Aston and Fincher Consisting of Dave Winnington, James Roe, Matt Reynolds, Dave Shaw, Adam Timbrell, Jay James, Michelle Shortall, Casey Sydney-Smith, Kayleigh Mackinnon, and Carl Fenlon.

Sadly, I lost my Mom almost 2 years ago, but thanks to the fantastic care, support and treatment she received at Good Hope Hospital, she was able to enjoy a few cancer free years, years myself and my family will be forever grateful for. My Mom always spoke very highly of the staff caring for her and the treatment she received.

All of us are affected by Cancer in some ways, both my uncle and father-in-law are currently fighting their own battles at the very same treatment centre. So, in memory of my Mom, and in recognition of the work, support and hope they continue to provide family’s I want to give a little something back. This is a thank you and to directly support the treatment centre in helping those battling this relentless disease.

The last time I rode a bike was probably a BMX in the 90’s, so this will certainly be a challenge, but nothing compared to the battle far too many people have to face on a daily basis fighting cancer.

Any amount you can afford, even a few pounds will make such a difference so please support me and the Team. Support your local treatment centre and help me to honour my brave Mom who will be looking down with pride (and probably having a few laughs!) as I swap the suit for cycling shorts and get on my bike!
