Story

FC Hanley U13’s football team and families are doing a collective sponsored walk/run of 1,111 miles - the walking route from Land’s End to John O’Groats to raise funds for 12 year old Ashton Hulme and his family for the prosthetics and rehabilitation following a through the knee amputation following a rare bone cancer called Osteosarcoma.

Ashton is sports mad, loves football and cricket and is signed as a goalkeeper for Crewe Alexandra and a keen Stoke City supporter. His family want him to have the opportunity to get back to an active lifestyle but the cost of suitable prosthetics and the on going cost of replacing them is huge.

Ashton has faced this difficult and challenging time with such determination and positivity that it is truly inspiring.

Please sponsor us by donating what you can to encourage us to complete our challenge and help this amazing young lad get the best prosthetics for the active life he loves - lets get a leg for life for Ashton!
