Story
Be part of creating a landmark mural in Lee!
We need your help to get this stunning mural painted under the railway bridge at Lee station. Network Rail is contributing towards it but we still need £1,000 towards cleaning the wall and for the artwork.
Hither Green Murals have done the design and will paint it – you can see their work under the bridge on Ennersdale Road. We chose a heron because of the numbers that nest in Manor House Gardens.
Remember that ad on the railway bridge at Lee station saying we live in Grove Park? Let’s set the record straight and put Lee on the map.

1 year agoThe Lee mural under the railway bridge on Burnt Ash Road is in need of a face-lift. It's looked fantastic for five years but it's now faded and covered with graffiti. We're asking for support again to help raise £1000 so Lionel can return it to it's former glory. You were all so generous five years ago, please can you help by contributing again?

Absolutely fantastic idea - the murals at Hither Green and Forrest Hill are brilliant, and it’s great that Lee Green will be getting one as well. Our community at it’s absolute finest - great work!
