I've raised £750 to help fund the inaugural Learning Disabilities Indoor Bowls International Series to be held in Falkirk, Scotland in June 2019.

Bowls players with a recognised learning disability rarely get an opportunity to compete as nations against other nations. At last year's Special Olympics GB Anniversary Games the regional coaches and helpers, and the organising team, discussed this at length and the Learning Disabilities Indoor Bowls International Series was borne. 3 teams of 12 players from Scotland, England and Wales will congregate at Falkirk Indoor Bowls Club from 4th to 6th June 2019 to compete for the inaugural "Munro Cup".
All athletes and coaches are self funding their attendance, travel and accommodation. No national sports group is putting any funds towards this event at present. However, money is needed for the organising team to make sure that the event is run as smoothly and professionally as possible. We have volunteers from all around the UK coming along to help run the event too.
If you feel that you can in anyway help us to fill our funding shortfall then please give to this very worthwhile cause.
