I'm hoping to raise £1,000 to support ;The East Preston and Kingston Royal British Legion Club who have been so very kind to my late wife Doreen Sheila Pilfold who passed away on Remembrance day this year. All funds collected will be forwarded to The East Preston and Kingston Royal British Legion Club.

The account is set up in my name as it was the only way to to do this.

On the 10th of November, Remembrance Sunday, my Darling wife Dor passed away in Worthing Hospital. She had suffered a stroke in November 2021, and over a short period of time become non-communicative. She first lost the ability to speak, and then to write. She was subsequently diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia leading to Parkinson’s-plus disease.

In the end, she had swallowing difficulties, losing two stone in weight in the process. I closed my business in order to nurse her myself at home during this difficult period.

The funeral will be at Worthing Crematorium on Friday December 13th at the Kingswood Chapel 2 pm. It will also be live streamed.
