Story
Oana' s safe Haven was started several years ago, and is run by a family of 4, Oana her husband and two children.
Just over 4 years ago they somehow managed to scrimp and save and buy some land, with the aim to build a rescue centre. This was to house the ever growing number of dogs and cats they were finding and rescuing from roaming the cold streets of their local town.
Fast forward 4 years later and with a lot of support they now look after more than 250 dogs, goodness knows how many cats. They conduct all rescue missions by themselves and usually in pretty horrific conditions. All with no volunteers other than international admin teams to help them with rehoming process.
This family are hero's to hundreds of animals, they have always, always managed to keep their spirits high. That was until last night! Several men broke in to the animal shelter and destroyed the main source of power. This included a wind turbine used for generating electricity.
They now have no heating and no power, this is vital for the veterinary clinic they built on site but most importantly it's vital for the 270 plus animals who are about to enter a very harsh winter.
We need to resolve this as quickly as possible and are now in the situation we need your help, if you can find it in your heart to spare a pound or two please anything will help.
The animals need our help the family needs our help.
