Hello my name is Laura Jackson and I'm a sound designer from South Wales. On July 15th 2017 I came home to discover that my home recording studio had been severely water damaged due to a water leak in the ceiling. This means that I am now unable to work and pay my bills. 5 years of hard work and saving money has now been totally destroyed.

The damages total up to almost £6,000 and include:

Misc Microphones (AKG, Rode, Shure) - £600

I didn't want this to result in asking people for money but this is really my only option. The £1000 I am asking for won't cover all the damages done to my studio, but it will give me the bare minimum I need to get on my feet and start working again, replacing everything else will just come in time.
