On the 23rd of August 2017 we sadly lost our beloved Laura Brooks at 35 years old, Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Auntie and Friend. She fought a hard 19 months against BRAF mutated bowel cancer. One of her last wishes was to help fund further research into this cruel form of rare cancer and to ultimatly find a cure. In those last 19 months Laura selflessly began to raise money for Prof. Gary Middleton at the University of Birmingham, who is leading the research into this type of cancer and is making good grounds. In Laura's Memory we wish to continue this fundraising. Laura also wished for us to donate towards new facilities at Good Hope Oncology Ward, a place where she received caring and first class treatment during her illness. As a family we are asking for you to help us to make Laura's last wishes come true. As we lay her Beautiful Soul to rest on the 7th September we are asking for donations to this page in replacement of funeral flowers. Come on guys lets smash this target, and do Laura proud.
