Maternity Care in the UK is broken. We ALL deserve better.

Families are coming home from hospital traumatized due to poor care and bad experiences, and this is because they have had "care" from midwives suffering from exhaustion and burnout.

I no longer believe that we can achieve good care from happy staff within the usual model of care for pregnancy in the UK.

Therefore - I'm following my passion, I qualified as a midwife in 2008 and for the last 6 years I've been getting together all the skills and requirements to be able to run and open my business. Mobile Midwives Ltd is registered as a company since March 2023, and we are awaiting our registration with the CQC which means that we can open officially. We will be providing a range of services (outside of the NHS) that can be used to top up care or as an alternative to NHS care.

I have a small network of 10 midwives that are happy to work throughout London - and we are looking to grow this to the whole UK and make ours services available for everyone.

We are able to work now individually, so please get in touch if you may want to find our midwife near you.

I am currently looking for:

• people with marketing or contract negotiation experience to assist with the startup

• midwives that want to try a different way of working

• women and families that want better care!
