Story
Right now, many of us are having to juggle the homeschooling needs of our children as well as working from home ourselves. Some families are having to manage all this with just a single mobile phone!
We want to provide refurbished laptops to children who would otherwise be unable to learn effectively at home. We have already started to recieve laptops donated by members of our community. We need to upgrade these laptops so children can access online educational content and enjoy a better home schooling experience.
Your donation will give children better access to learning and social opportunities whilst at home during lockdown. Thank you for your help

4 years agoHi there. We want to give you a quick project update. It’s been just 40 days since we asked for your help and you’ve generously donated over £1,300 and more than 40 laptops. We've refurbished and handed 30 of them to the school and have been working on more over the half term break. Your support has allowed us to put the equivalent of around £12,000 of technology back into the community. We will continue to give donated laptops a second life until lock down ends. We can't believe how much you've donated in only SIX DAYS. We've reached our target (again!) and can now do more than we originally planned to help local school children during lockdown. Because of this we've decided to respond to the school's request for 20 pairs of headphones to provide a quiet environment to children working there. These should be delivered to the school in a few days. Thanks again Charlie and Rick
