I've raised £20000 to Help Complete Laias' Bucket List

Laia is 7 years old, she is a loving, funny, caring little girl like any other. Her smile just lights up the room.
Last month Laia was taken into hospital and any parents worst nightmare began. Laia has been diagnosed with DIPG.
Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma, is a type of brain tumour that occurs mostly in children. It is the second most common type of primary, high grade brain tumour in children.
For kids diagnosed with this rare and fatal type of brain tumour, there is no cure and treatments are heartbreakingly scarce. DIPG life expectancy is devastatingly short.
Laia is about to start her first course of Radio Therapy and will be in and out of hospital for the next 6 weeks. However doctors have said she will have a good 3-6 months after treatment where it may seem like Laia is leading a normal life. From around 6 Months she will get ill, she will deteriorate and her life expectancy is approx. 12 months.
Laia parents asked their daughter 'If you could go anywhere and do anything what would they be? Laia replied 'visit America, go to Lego Land, the zoo and ride a pony in Lanark'- She would also like a big house in her garden with Unicorns on it...So that's what we would like to achieve for her.
We would love to see Laia, her mum & dad and siblings have a holiday to remember in Disneyland and create the best memories with Laia. To take her to Lego Land, visit Chester Zoo, let her ride a pony in Lanark and have her Summer house in the garden painted with Unicorns where she can play would make the coming months that little easier for the family and give Laia the best of times with her family.
We want to ensure that Laia has the most amazing few months while she can still be the happy, loving, amazing little girl that she is.
Thank you to everyone for their support and donations, it means the world to this family.
