Mark was diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer in January 2014 and he died in May 2016. During the last two years we made the most of the time we had and his positivity inspired many people. During the last few months he put plans in place to set up a reward for creativity at the children's school, as a legacy. It will celebrate young people's talent and creative spirit, something he held close to his heart. We aim to set this up as a ten year project, with rewards made at the end of each term.

In order to raise these funds and in memory of Mark I will be running the Great North Run on September 11th 2016.

I am joined by some amazing friends who have supported us throughout. I know Mark will be with us in spirit on Sunday, as we join thousands of runners, experienced and newbies, like me. Thank you for your donation, it will be a lovely legacy and he would be very proud that his name lives on in such a creative and celebratory way.
