Peter Dunkley spent many hours timekeeping at Kettering, Corby and further afield on behalf of Kettering Town Harriers, Corby AC and the Northamptonshire Athletics Association. Peter was always willing to help less experienced officials and his cheery disposition and enthusiasm made it a pleasure for all who worked with him - no matter what the prevailing weather conditions. Peter's family have asked that donations be made in Peter's memory to Kettering Town Harriers towards a trophy or shield in Peter's name. We have decided to establish a Peter Dunkley Award to recognise those who volunteer at the club in an officiating capacity with any additional funds going towards our Young Leader Accreditation Programme through which we are developing young volunteers for the future.
