I've raised £1000 to kristians Final Farewell

Lithuanian Kristians Olstein died at Northampton Hospital on the 18th of this month. He was only 22. He had moved here to get work, but lost his passport within days and ended up the streets.
He had an amazing love of music, his dream being to make his name, writing and playing for the entertainment of others, however this was not to be.
Kristian was a victim of the streets, the abuse he suffered, the addictions that ripped holes in his life, his dignity. The loss of self worth were all a result of a life style he did not choose, but yet chose him.
But however society viewed him, however little it offered him, and how much it disowned him, Kristian became endeared to so many. His quiet, polite, unassuming, undemanding manner. His obvious youth and musical talent, his sense of humour alongside a resilient yet uncertain faith placed him in the hearts of people from all walks of life, from all social classes and genres.
But now he is gone, I believe to a place where there are no more tears and where there is no more pain, whilst we are left to say goodbye, grieve and lay him to rest.
This fundraiser is for that purpose. To help towards, or maybe even cover the cost of this young mans funeral. A paupers funeral and a paupers grave should not be what marks the end of a life that enriched so many.
It matters not what group you represent, or your individual views on homelessness. What matters is that together we ensure Kristian Olstein's voice is heard loud and clear one last time.
