I've raised £30000 to Lebanon!

Lebanon is not okay.
The country has been declared a “hunger hotspot” with over 80% of its population living under the poverty line.
People are queuing for bread and gasoline in civil war-like scenes, but past generations insist “things have never been this bad”, even during the 15 bloody years that marred Lebanon’s past.
A complete electricity blackout has plunged the country into darkness and fuel shortages are forcing businesses and hospitals into closure.
Medications of all sorts are missing, ranging from over the counter pain killers to life-saving cancer treatments. While Covid-19 cases are surging, the health care sector is collapsing, with no beds, medical supplies, or even staff to attend to the critically ill.
People are helpless and hopeless, unified in their fear of tomorrow, because the Lebanese have learned not to tempt fate.
When Beirut blew up on August 4 in a deadly explosion that killed at least 214 people and injured thousands more, many thought that was our rock bottom.
But things got worse, and worse, until the situation became a ‘living hell’.
Today, Lebanon is in dire need of help, and we’re making sure its cries are heard.
KLNA is an independent, volunteer initiative that was founded in June 2020 to support vulnerable families in Lebanon. We package and distribute food boxes to households across Lebanon, and support with rent, medication and other expenditures where we can.
With no solutions in sight for Lebanon’s tragedies, we’re stepping up to stand by our people, and we need your help to do that.
Please consider donating. Any amount can make a difference.
Let us all rise up and live by the words we grew up singing for our country. #KLNAforLebanon
Stay safe,
KLNA Family
