Story

Hello I'm Kitty, I am a mother to two kids (One residing with me) and I have ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia and Muscular issues, and struggle hugely with mobility. I rely on a mobility scooter to shop and feed me and my daughter and to get her to school. I have a scooter, but I bought it second hand and had to get it cheap and its now broken entirely.

I have ADHD and I'm autistic and having a real hard time emotionally being locked in and unable to see to my needs. My diet is poor without accesibility to a proper supermarket rather than my local convenience store m. All of this is no good for my daughter. I'm unable to work due to widespread pain, and this makes it difficult to save up for a new scooter. I can contribute small amounts to this fundraise, but was hoping if any of you were feeling so kind you could help me towards my goal, even just a little. I sadly under the PIP assessments fell just a few points short for higher rate mobility which would help me get a mobility scooter. Alas, as the cruel and inaccurate tests have left me stranded, and I need to ask the public for help.

This new scooter is faster, after using an 8mph one i can confirm faster means I'm harder to be bullied off the road and can move out of the way to if needed. A class 3 is road legal. Its also sturdy, stable, safe and works, unlike the current one I have. This is relatively reasonably priced for a class 3 mobility scooter like this and reviews are excellent. This is the quality of service and product i need to ensure my mobility. At 29 it's sad I'm reliant on a scooter, for me, after losing my mobility in the last year or so. Its even sadder not having that scooter and not coping.

It will mean the world to me and my daughter to reach this goal. If even a lot of you donated a small amount, that would eventually add up to my goal. I will not expect this for free, I will be of course be doing fundraise events myself to help me reach my goal, so stay tuned!

Thanks so much for reading
