Iʼm raising £1,000 to Buy football kits for children

Story
With the cost of living getting higher and higher at the moment, it‘s getting increasingly difficult for parents of young children to buy them the kits of their favourite team.
A full kit for an infant will now set a parent back around £70. For older children it will be even more. For families with two or more children, you can imagine the financial pressure this puts on.
That’s not where the costs end. Buying tickets for games, boots, shin pads, a ball, and paying for children to join football training clubs and travel costs for getting there… the costs just go up and up.
Today’s children are the fans and players of the future, and they must not be held back.
There are many benefits to buying football shirts for children: they encourage them to get out and play sports, they inspire the next generation of fans, and above all they bring joy to children.
I would like to raise (at least) £1,000 to buy Ipswich Town kits for just a few children in Suffolk.
This wouldn‘t be means tested, and would be handled discreetly. The only criteria is that you‘re in Suffolk and it is an Ipswich Town home or away shirt you‘re looking for.
As long as you have a child under the age of 16 and feel you’re struggling to afford a new kit this season you will be considered. This will be available on a first come, first served basis until the funds run out.
Lets raise as much as we can, shall we, and paint the town blue (and maroon)!
