Story
Hi everyone,
I’m excited to announce that as part of a team from Anglia Ruskin University, I’ll be volunteering in Sainji, a picturesque village in the foothills of the Himalayas, to provide essential audiology care and raise awareness about hearing health. In rural areas like Sainji, hearing loss often goes undiagnosed and untreated, and I’m passionate about using my skills to make a difference in this incredible community.
In the past, generous donations have helped transform the village by providing concrete for safer pathways, vital equipment for schools, sturdy walls to prevent landslides during the monsoon season and replacing books and clothes destroyed in a fire.
During my time in Sainji, I’ll help educate the community about ear health and the early detection of hearing loss. I’ll also collaborate with local organisations to create sustainable solutions that will benefit the village long after I leave.
Every donation, big or small, will go a long way toward improving lives and continuing the positive change in Sainji.
Thank you so much for your kindness and support.
